The latest edition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), the world’s first national-level import-themed expo, opened in Shanghai on Tuesday.
Scheduled to be held from November 5th to 10th, the 7th CIIE attracted almost 3,500 participants from 130 countries and regions, and broke a new record with the participation of 300 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders.
More than 400 new products, new technologies and new services will be unveiled during the exhibition. According to experts, this demonstrates a strong indication of global companies’ confidence in the Chinese market and their commitment to development in China despite the slow global economic recovery.
