The dish is light, tasty and perfect to serve with meat, fish or even a vegetarian meal.
Ingredients

1 cup of rice tea

2 cups of water tea

1 pack of broccoli (only the floretes)

2 chopped garlic cloves
-
1/2 chopped onion
-
2 tablespoons of olive oil or oil

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste (optional)
Preparation mode
- Wash the broccoli flowers well and cut them into small pieces.
- Cook the flourish in boiling water with a pinch of salt for about 3 to 4 minutes until they are soft but still firm.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil or oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sautéing until golden and fragrant.
- Add the rice to the pan and stir well, letting it sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the 2 cups of water and season with salt to taste.
- Let it cook over medium-high heat until it begins to boil.
- When boiling, reduce the heat down, cover the pan and cook until the water is absorbed (about 15 minutes).
- When the rice is almost ready and the water has been virtually all absorbed, add the cooked broccoli flowers.
- Mix gently to incorporate broccoli into rice.
- Cover the pan and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes for the flavors to mix.
- Turn off the heat and let the rice rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Release the rice with a fork and, if desired, finish with a hint of black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, accompanying the main course of your choice.
