Fill your pie with whatever you want! Our suggestions are: hearts of palm or chicken. Learn how to make your pie dough with the instructions:
Ingredients

3 cups of wheat flour

200 g cold butter or margarine

1 ovo

1 egg yolk for brushing

1 tablespoon of cream or ice water

1 teaspoon of salt
Preparation mode
- In a large bowl, mix the wheat flour and salt.
- Add the cold butter or margarine, cut into cubes, and mix with your fingertips until you obtain a moist crumb.
- Add the egg and cream (or ice water) and mix until a homogeneous dough forms. If necessary, add a little more cream or water to thicken the dough.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to rest.
- After resting, roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a floured surface until it is about 3 mm thick.
- Line the pie molds with the dough, pressing the bottom and sides well.
- Fill the pies with the filling of your choice (chicken, hearts of palm, shrimp, etc.).
- Cover the pies with a little more dough, sealing the edges well.
- Brush the caps with beaten egg yolk to add shine.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for around 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden.
