All around international game changer and passionate feminist, Sukki Singapora is Singapore’s first international burlesque performer. Yet, to earn the title as the ‘first,’ Sukki engaged in a four year long lobbying campaign to legalize burlesque in Singapore -- finally achieving success in 2015. Since then, Sukki has performed at the after-parties of the London Fashion Week in 2015 and the Singapore Grand Prix in 2015 and 2016, and garnered a coveted invitation to have tea with the Queen at Buckingham Palace. But her first encounters with global recognition occurred when she appearing on Esquire Magazine as "Women We Love,” FHM India, and the front cover of international burlesque magazine Burlesque Bible. To Sukki, burlesque is inherently a feminist issue. For her outspoken political views on freedom of expression for women in socially restrictive countries she was recognized with an Asian Women of Achievement Award in 2014. Her horizons don’t stop there, this year she added the additional title of entrepreneur with the launch of her cosmetics line, LASplash Cosmetics, and her second lingerie collaboration.
