E-commerce growth hacker
Goat is the platform for sneakerheads. The online marketplace for buying and selling authentic, collectible sneakers is the world’s largest—and set to become larger still after a recent merger with US consignment store Flight Club and raising US$60 million in a round of funding led by Index Ventures. Currently based out of Los Angeles, Goat is looking to grow its footprint in Asia—especially in China—with the help of e-commerce growth hacker Ross Yip, who works with Goat on strategy, ideation and execution. For the former investment banker, it’s a two-way street as he also helps major Chinese sportswear brands elevate their status outside the mainland. Well- versed in streetwear, Ross also regularly contributes to a range of fashion publications, including Hypebeast and Highsnobiety.
