Poonyatorn Suthipongchai

As managing partner of Thailand’s first Silicon Valley-based venture capital fund, Poonyatorn Suthipongchai creates a deeptech startup bridge between the US and Southeast Asia, with funds expected to reach US$50 million by the end of 2020. Poonyatorn’s focus is on the industrial, healthcare and agrifood sectors, where he sees partnership opportunities with everything from conglomerates to family-run businesses. He’s also chief strategy officer for his own family’s company, Sharp Thai Electric.
