Simplistically creative by nature, Otto Ng, has a spent a lifetime placing himself at the intersection of architecture, design and technology, while co-founding LAAB. Coined as a laboratory for art and architecture, LAAB has contributed to projects ranging from the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal to an electric-hybrid bicycle wheel. In 2016, Otto and LAAB gained global nottarity for turning a 310 sq ft apartment in Central into a couple’s dream home with the Small Home project—a brilliant example of space-saving, high-tech design that might well be the future of real estate. LAAB has been recognized by Japan Good Design Award, Design for Asia Award, and HSBC Young Business Award.
Prior to LAAB, Otto studied architecture at HKU and MIT, and worked in the US, UK and Italy where he designed smart cities through innovative architecture. He was awarded the Young Guns of New York Art Directors Club in 2015.
