After overcoming homelessness, Noor started her first nonprofit, Back2Basics, in 2013, delivering free groceries to underprivileged families and homebound older people. Two years later she co-founded her other nonprofit, Interfaith Youth Circle, to encourage dialogue between religions. For her work, she was named Singaporean of the Year 2018 by The Straits Times. In 2020, she started a new initiative, Being Bravely Woman, that produces content for Asian women from minority communities.
