Marisa Yiu

For Marisa Yiu, design is of the essence. As a part of everyone’s everyday life, it can have a huge effect on society—and that’s why her focus is on finding ways that design can make our surroundings more creative and stimulating. An architect by profession, Marisa is the founding partner of Eskyiu, an award-winning design and research studio in Hong Kong. In her role as co-founder and executive director of Design Trust—a charity that supports creative projects in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta in various design disciplines, from graphics and media to wearables and architecture—she also acts as a champion of design, advocating for its positive role in society.
