In April 2020, Kevin Goh became Singapore’s first chess grandmaster in 21 years, one of only four in the city state’s history and one of only 1,700 in the world. A seven-time national champion and three-time Southeast Asian Games medal winner, he is the highest rated chess player in Singapore. When he isn’t at the chessboard, he is working as the chief financial officer of cancer diagnostics company Lucence.
