The ultimate artist at heart, Julien Royer is exceeding even his own expectations, by being named Chef of the Year for the second time by the annual World Gourmet Summit's Awards of Excellence by the National Gallery Singapore last year. This comes just as his then two year old restaurant Odette into Les Grandes Tables du Monde (the second restaurant in Singapore to be accorded the honour by the esteemed restaurant guide), given two Michelin stars. Earlier this year, Odette was awarded number 28 in the World's 50 Best Restaurants listing and won the 5th spot in this year's Asia's 50 Best Restaurants. Making to make digital waves, Julien announced this past October a new partnership with digital platform Keyyes' Gourmet marketplace the purchase the exact ingredients that he uses in his restaurant's kitchen.
