Born to a British father and a Malaysian mother, Henry Golding ducked the traditional college route to pursue acting, and it is a path that eventually brought him the male lead role in the 2018 Hollywood hit film Crazy Rich Asians, which was adapted from Singaporean author Kevin Kwan’s best-selling book of the same name. He has gone on to star in several other movies, including A Simple Favour, Toff Guys and Last Christmas. Before his silver screen debut, you may have spotted the intrepid traveller as host of travel shows such as Surviving Borneo, Without Boundaries and 2 Brothers 2 Cities.
