Director and actor Derek Tsang has long been an established face in the Hong Kong film industry, but he leapt to greater prominence when his film Better Days was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 2021 Academy Awards. He has more than 30 movie acting credits to his name, alongside directing, scriptwriting and editing, and is also the co-founder of production company GoodFellas Pictures.
