Danny Yeung wants to transform the medical industry—and he already has quite the track record for disruption. A serial entrepreneur, Danny first ventured into food and drink, then hospitality, before founding group buying website Ubuyibuy, only to sell it to Groupon after just six months. In 2014, he set his sights on transforming healthcare with Prenetics, today one of the largest genetic testing companies globally. The company’s impressive rise looks set to continue following more than US$50 million in funding from the likes of Alibaba and Ping An. Danny is dreaming big, with plans to reconfigure the way we think about healthcare by making DNA testing affordable. He wants to give everyone the power to control their own health, and says regular genetic screenings should see more people taking their health into their own hands.
