Founder, Anaïs Jourden
Up-and-coming designers are two a penny, really. But when your work gets noticed by Rem D. Koolhaas, nephew of renowned Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, you know you’re probably onto something. That’s what happened to Anais, whose brand, Jourden, makes her a firm fixture in Hong Kong’s stable of home-grown fashion talent. Having caught the attention of the creative director at age 18, she interned at his shoe label before heading to university and then launching her own brand. Known for its feminine, strong and textured yet simple silhouettes, Jourden was rightfully nominated as one of the LVMH Prize 2015 semi-finalists and Anais was singled out by Italian Vogue as the winner of its Who Is On Next emerging designer award in the same year.
