Ingredients

500g pasta (penne or fusilli type)

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 medium onion chopped

3 cloves of garlic, chopped

500g ground beef (optional)

1 can of tomato sauce (approximately 340g)

1 can of cream (200g)
-
200g grated mozzarella cheese
-
100g grated parmesan cheese
-
Salt and black pepper to taste

Oregano to taste
-
Chopped parsley to taste
Preparation mode
- Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve.
- In a large pan, heat the oil and sauté the onion until transparent.
- Add the garlic and sauté for another minute.
- If using ground beef, add it to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the tomato sauce, mix well and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add the cream and mix well until you obtain a homogeneous sauce.
- Adjust salt, pepper and oregano to taste.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large baking dish or ovenproof dish, mix the cooked pasta with the prepared sauce.
- Sprinkle the chopped parsley and half the grated mozzarella cheese and mix again.
- Cover the pasta with the remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for around 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
