Check out the step-by-step instructions for preparing your oven pasta to be perfect. Use the suggested ingredients:

Ingredients

  • 500g pasta (penne or fusilli type)

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 500g ground beef (optional)

  • 1 can of tomato sauce (approximately 340g)

  • 1 can of cream (200g)

  • 200g grated mozzarella cheese

  • 100g grated parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Oregano to taste

  • Chopped parsley to taste

Preparation mode

  • Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve.
  • In a large pan, heat the oil and sauté the onion until transparent.
  • Add the garlic and sauté for another minute.
  • If using ground beef, add it to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the tomato sauce, mix well and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Add the cream and mix well until you obtain a homogeneous sauce.
  • Adjust salt, pepper and oregano to taste.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a large baking dish or ovenproof dish, mix the cooked pasta with the prepared sauce.
  • Sprinkle the chopped parsley and half the grated mozzarella cheese and mix again.
  • Cover the pasta with the remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for around 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
