500g ground meat (can be beef, pork, chicken or a mixture)

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves of minced garlic

2 tablespoons of oil or olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 chopped tomato

1/2 chopped bell pepper (optional)

1 grated carrot (optional)

Chopped chives to taste
Preparation mode
- In a large skillet, heat the oil or olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until completely browned and cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and bell pepper (if using) and cook for a few more minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
- If using carrots, add them at this point and cook until tender.
- Check seasoning and adjust as needed.
- Finish by adding the chopped chives and mix well.
- Serve hot with white rice, mashed potatoes or however you prefer.
