Ingredients
- Creme

1 can of condensed milk

2 tablespoons of cornstarch (cornstarch)

500 ml of milk

2 egg yolks (sieved)

1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Assembly

1 Maizena Cracker Package (approximately 200g)

1 cup of milk tea (to wet the cookies)

1 tablespoon of chocolate powder (optional, for milk)

Chocolate shavings or granulated chocolate to decorate (optional)
Preparation mode
- In a pan, mix the condensed milk, milk, cornstarch and sifted yolks.
- Bring to medium heat, stirring constantly so as not to jump.
- Cook until the cream thickens and reaches a porridge consistency.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla essence, mixing well.
- Reserve the cream and let cool.
- In a deep dish, mix the milk with the chocolate powder (if you use). This mixture will be used to wet the cookies.
- Quickly wet each cracker in the milk with chocolate, being careful not to soak too much, as they can crumble.
- In a medium refractory, put a layer of cream on the bottom.
- On top of the cream, arrange a layer of maizena crackers wet in milk.
- Continue alternating layers of cream and cookies until the ingredients are over, ending with a layer of cream.
- If desired, decorate the pave with chocolate shavings, granulated chocolate or even fresh fruits, such as strawberries.
- Cover the pave with plastic movie and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until it is very firm and cold.
- Serve ice cream, cutting into pieces to enjoy the delicious layers of cream and maizena cookies.
