China’s first large domestically built cruise ship, “Adora Magic City”, is scheduled to begin its maiden voyage on January 1, 2024 from Shanghai, marking the beginning of its commercial operation, Adora Cruises Limited said. , on Tuesday.
The ship, measuring 323 meters in length, has more than 2,000 rooms and 22 different restaurants and bars, accommodating up to 5,200 passengers. Scheduled to depart from Shanghai’s Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal, the ship will provide a unique cruise experience with gourmet food, shows and world-class shopping at sea. A range of activities specially designed for children will also be available.
On Tuesday, the company revealed the cruise’s route to Northeast Asia. It will also launch routes to Southeast Asian countries in the future. Tickets for the cruise ship itineraries were made available starting Wednesday.
