Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

  • Syrup of your choice (optional)

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy and light.
  • Add the vegetable oil and vanilla extract (if using) to the egg and sugar mixture, and continue beating until everything is well incorporated.
  • Then add the milk little by little, alternating with the wheat flour and mixing well after each addition.
  • Finally, add the baking powder and salt, stirring gently until the dough is smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for around 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before unmolding.
  • If desired, drizzle the cake with a syrup of your choice, such as chocolate syrup, condensed milk or coconut milk.
  • Serve the soft cake in slices and enjoy!
