In the new information published by the CMB, under the title of “List of Those Who Declared Liquidation”, it was seen that Coinbase, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, gave up entering the Turkish market under the name of “Coinbase Turkey Yazılım Teknolojileri AŞ”.
However, according to CMB records, Yapı ve Kredi Bankası also submitted its documents to the CMB as a cryptocurrency custodian application.
There are currently 77 companies in the “List of Operators”, which CMB defines as a temporary list, including Binance Türkiye, Bitfinex, Garanti BBVA and İş Bankası.
