Ingredients

4 ears of green corn

4 cups of milk

1 cup of sugar

1 pinch of salt

Preparation mode
- Peel the ears of corn and remove the kernels with a knife.
- Place the grains in a blender and add 2 cups of milk. Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Pass the blended corn mixture through a sieve or clean kitchen towel to extract all the liquid. Discard the bagasse.
- In a pan, add the strained corn liquid, the remaining milk (2 cups), sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent the porridge from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Continue stirring until the porridge thickens and reaches the desired consistency (approximately 15-20 minutes).
- Pour the porridge into bowls and sprinkle cinnamon powder to taste on top.
- Serve hot.
