An Index Fund (ETF) that accompanies Chinext – the Chinese scholarship focused on innovative companies, similar to NASDAQ – was officially listed in B3, Brazil’s stock exchange. The announcement was made on Tuesday by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Szse).

The initiative marks the launch of the ETF Connect program between SZSE and B3, representing a new chapter in cooperation between the capital markets of China and Brazil. The program is a practical result of what was agreed at the 7th meeting of the China-Brazil High Level Coordination and Cooperation Committee.

ETF is an open fund traded on the stock exchange, which invests in actions of specific or underlying assets defined in the contract. The version that accompanies Chinext has also been released in countries such as the United States, South Korea, Singapore and regions of Europe.

SZSE has stated that it intends to expand transfronic cooperation and connectivity between markets, supporting high quality economic development through greater institutional opening.
