Fit Cheese Bread
To prepare your Fit Cheese Bread, you will need to use the ingredients below and follow the preparation instructions.
Ingredients

1 cup sweet cassava starch

1 cup sour cassava starch

1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese

1/2 cup skim milk or plant-based milk (almond, oat, etc.)

1/4 cup olive oil or coconut oil

1 ovo

1/2 cup light grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
Preparation mode
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, mix the sweet cassava starch, sour cassava starch and salt.
- In a small pan, heat the milk and olive oil until it starts to boil.
- Pour the hot milk mixture over the dry ingredients, stirring well to form a smooth batter.
- Add the ricotta (or cottage cheese) and grated parmesan cheese to the dough, mixing well.
- Add the egg and mix until the dough is uniform.
- With lightly oiled hands, form small balls of dough and place them on a lightly greased baking sheet or lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese breads are lightly golden.
