1 cup of ready couscous

1/2 cup cassava flour

2 tablespoons butter or oil

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves of minced garlic

Preparation mode
- In a large skillet, melt butter or heat oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes, until aromatic.
- Add the prepared couscous to the pan and mix well with the onion and garlic.
- Gradually add the cassava flour, stirring constantly to incorporate well.
- Continue cooking and stirring until the crumbs are golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Add chopped chives, if desired, for an extra touch of freshness.
- Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish for meat, poultry or fish.
