During the first edition of our Gen.T Stream virtual conference in May, we hosted a fireside chat with award-winning journalist Maria Ressa. Best known for co-founding Philippine news platform Rappler, Ressa shared her perspectives on freedom of the press, seeing the positive in adversity and the role of social media today.

Cloud Talk: A Virtual Roundtable With A Plastic Ocean's Craig Leeson

In a closed-door virtual roundtable session, part of our monthly Cloud Talk series, Craig Leeson, the filmmaker behind award-winning documentary A Plastic Ocean, answered questions from 10 Gen.T honourees in sustainability about the global plastic problem as well as his experiences and learnings covering the issue.

Gen.T Stream: Data for good—How data can be used to make companies more ethical, sustainable and profitable

At the second edition of Gen.T Stream, which took place virtually in October, we had speakers including data scientist and Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie discuss creating social impact in a post-pandemic world. Wylie also gave us insight on AI's possible effects on human agency and how companies can use data to make a positive change.
