In Pictures: The China List Unveiling Event
On July 5, we revealed the 100 China honourees on the Gen.T List 2019 at an unveiling event at the Shanghai Edition Hotel.
The evening began with a private dinner for the 2019 honourees and Tatler Tribe members—a panel of industry heavyweights Gen.T consults to aid in the selection of the list. Tribe members at the dinner included Enita Pu, partner at Sequoia Capital China; LVMH China's Jonathan Romano; Chung To, founder and chairman of charity Chi Heng Foundation; and Qiao Zhibing, founder of art museum Tank Shanghai.
Tamara Lamunière, head of Generation T Asia, introduced the inaugural Gen.T Asia Summit, a leadership festival powered by Generation T that's taking place in Hong Kong this November. There was also a speech from Liao Qinan, CEO of Teach for China, which supports volunteer teachers working in rural areas of China. Qinan spoke of the upcoming CSR partnership with Gen.T, which will focus on an activation event that will harness the power of our community to enact positive change.
Previous Gen.T honourees and the wider community joined for the afterparty, where we revealed the China honourees on the Gen.T List 2019 for the first time.
