Former President Donald Trump is delivering the keynote speech at the world’s largest Bitcoin conference, positioning himself and his running mate, Senator JD Vance, as pro-crypto leaders for the upcoming election cycle.
Trump is expected to begin his speech shortly.
In June, Trump marked a significant shift in his stance on the crypto industry by advocating that all remaining Bitcoin be mined in the United States. This change is notable given his previous critical statements. In 2019, Trump stated that he was “not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money and whose value is highly volatile and not backed by anything.”
