The new feature announced during the Token2049 conference in Dubai benefits from the registered Smartfunding technology that converts Mesh into fixed coins at the point of sale.

This eliminates the needs of traders directly processing or transforming the crypto, making it a seamless “plug and run” payment option that can be accessed through Apple Pay’s familiar interface.

Bam Azizi, MESH CEO and founding partner, said, “As soon as crypto payments become as smooth as Fiat payments, we believe that global trade will not have anything to stop the mass migration to the block chain rails”.

This feature, which enables both physical and online retailers to accept crypto payments without traditionally technical complexity or regulatory burden on the processing of digital assets, is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2025.

Mesh, especially block chain infrastructure continues to disrupt traditional payment rails by paying fixed coins (crypto currencies fixed to Fiat values), while the process aims to make the process both stable and scalable for businesses.

This move puts Mesh among the fintech and crypto companies that benefit from stabilcoins for trade. Stripe recently started to test Stablecoin vehicles after purchasing Bridge and Paypal launched its own USD -backed stablecoin last year.
