Use the ingredients below to prepare your Creamy Baked Rice, following the instructions for preparation.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice

  • 1 can of cream

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup ham cut into small cubes

  • 1/2 cup of sweet corn

  • 1/2 cup peas

  • 1/2 cup grated carrot

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • 2 cloves of minced garlic

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Olive oil for sautéing

Preparation mode

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a pan, heat a little olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden.
  • Add the ham and sauté for a few minutes.
  • Then add the corn, peas and carrots. Sauté for a few more minutes until the vegetables are soft.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice, cream, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the sautéed ham and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish greased with butter or olive oil.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the rice.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and serve hot.
