Corporate culture has always been actively promoted among PV GAS employees as a crucial factor for the Corporation’s success, ensuring that it remains a cornerstone of the organization’s growth and progress.

Following Plan No. 5799/KH-DKVN dated November 27, 2020, which outlined the renewal of Petrovietnam’s culture, PV GAS has implemented multiple directives. This effort aims to enhance the importance of corporate culture, ensuring that it is carried out consistently, comprehensively and continuously.

PV GAS has actively implemented internal communication to spread the value of “One Team – One Goal”. The emphasis has been placed on stimulating solidarity, unity and resilience among employees, thus creating a synergistic force that drives the Corporation towards sustainable growth.

As of June 18, 2024, the Corporate Culture and Communication Division has published more than two hundred articles on various aspects (production and business, corporate culture development, corporate social responsibility (CSR), etc.) on PV GAS and its units. These publications, appearing in both domestic and international media, provide high-quality and insightful coverage of the Corporation and Vietnam’s gas industry in general.

The importance of the Vietnamese gas industry

A significant achievement of PV GAS in the first half of 2024 was the integration of corporate culture into the collective bargaining agreement, which established a bilateral commitment between the Corporation and its employees. From the foundation of Petrovietnam’s culture, PV GAS has been progressively defining its unique identity with a focus on efficiency. Employees are expected to understand and embody the Petrovietnam/PV GAS culture, contribute to its development and support it in their daily work, together promoting a cohesive and vibrant organizational work environment.

Building on past successes, PV GAS will continue to devise measures that root and provide areas for development of its culture. The Corporation will also follow Petrovietnam’s guidelines, aimed at elevating the culture of collaboration in task execution across all divisions and units. These efforts will be integrated with the “One Team – One Goal” thematic activity and the celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam’s Oil and Gas Industry, commemorating the fulfillment of President Ho Chi Minh’s (July 23, 1959 – July 23, 2024) wish, as planned by the Group Party Committee.

Furthermore, internal communication is strongly encouraged to provide in-depth information exchanges. Key aspects include the dissemination of the Corporation’s policies, strategies and initiatives, as well as the display of exemplary work practices, aimed at boosting work ethic, while measuring the impact of cultural values ​​on business performance through KPIs.

Last but not least, sessions, workshops, seminars and training are frequently conducted. PV GAS always encourages its units to develop distinctive cultural values, while adhering to the Corporation’s core principles, which is facilitated through various means such as manuals, publications and newsletters.
