Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrived in Moscow on Tuesday for the 29th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian heads of government at the invitation of Russian Premier Mikhail Mishustin.

Li arrived at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, where a grand welcome ceremony was held for him. The prime minister reviewed the guard of honor accompanied by senior Russian government officials.

During his stay, Li will meet with Mishustin to exchange in-depth views on bilateral relations, practical cooperation and major issues of common concern.

The regular meeting between the Chinese and Russian heads of government, held every year since its establishment in 1996, is an important mechanism to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state and promote bilateral cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.
