The Chinese Embassy in Brazil announced a cultural competition that will take two Instagram followers to participate in the Chinese New Year celebrations, which will take place in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, on February 10. The prize for the winners includes round-trip air tickets without an escort, departing from any airport in Brazil, in addition to a stay at a hotel in the city.
To participate, you must comment on the official contest post, available on the embassy’s Instagram account, answering the question “what would your perfect Chinese New Year celebration look like?” You also need to tag two friends in the comment. All rules are available in the publication.
In addition to the two trip winners, five other comments will be selected to receive a surprise gift in the mail. Participation must be made by January 29th. The result will be announced by January 31st.
Chinese New Year will be celebrated between February 10th and 17th this year, marking the beginning of the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac. According to popular belief, people born in the Year of the Dragon are known for being confident, charismatic and ambitious.
