Electric heavy trucks, pickup trucks and off-road vehicles for challenging land were some of the highlights of Chinese agricultural technology presented at Agrishow 2025, closed on May 2 in Ribeirão Preto (SP). With about 200 thousand visitors and R $ 14.6 billion in business intentions, the largest fair in the sector in Latin America was attended by over 800 brands – including several companies from China.
Among them, Xag showed high capacity agricultural drones, especially models that cost only one sixth of conventional machines, according to Cheng Qichang, regional manager of the brand. In partnership with Chinese automakers, resellers demonstrated the use of electric pickups as a mobile base for transport, operation and recharge of the drones in the field.
DJI Agriculture took advantage of the fair to launch a new edition of its white book on agricultural drones, which features guidelines on safe use, regulations and industry trends. Yi Jiaxiao, company manager in Brazil, expects the publication to help standardize the use of technology in the country. Barboza, a professional in the drone spraying industry, praised the reliability of brand products and said he plans to expand his services with new equipment.
The fair was also attended by CFMOTO, which showed its line of off-road utilitarian vehicles, and Sany Group, which led to the event trucks and 100% electric agricultural machines. For Sany’s representative, Abirached, China’s leadership in electrification can accelerate the transition to more sustainable agriculture in Brazil.
Agrishow president João Marcheson highlighted the complementarity between the economies of both countries and defended a deepening of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
