Representatives from more than 50 countries analyzed the new characteristics of terrorism and discussed the use of smart and unmanned technologies in combating terrorist attacks, at a four-day forum that ended on Friday.
More than 300 participants discussed the topic of “Unmanned Counter-Terrorism Operations” and reached consensus on various issues during the Great Wall-2024 International Counter-Terrorism Forum.
They exchanged views on topics such as the current environment of unmanned counterterrorism operations, relevant tactics, and the development and application of equipment.
“We have all learned a lot from this forum,” said Avom Nang Jean Jacques, defense attaché of the Cameroon Embassy in China, during the closing ceremony. He believes that with joint efforts from all sides, the proposals put forward at the forum can certainly be implemented.
The forum, the fifth edition since its inauguration in 2016, has become an important platform promoting international dialogue on counter-terrorism.
