China will firmly maintain its high standard opening policy and continue to improve the business environment, Chinese Minister Wang Gooo said on Tuesday during a meeting with Brendan Nelson, senior vice president of Boeing Company and president of Boeing Global.
Wang expressed expectation that Boeing will extend its cooperation with the Chinese aviation industry and provide more quality products and services to the local market. He pointed out that healthy economic and commercial cooperation between China and the United States, the two largest economies in the world, is of the fundamental interest on both sides.
Nelson, in turn, reiterated the company’s commitment to the Chinese market and said that Boeing will continue to invest in the country and support the development of the local air transport sector. According to him, the two countries have complementary and interdependent economies, and the company will continue contributing to healthy and stable bilateral relations.
Aviation is a globalized industry with integrated supply chains, and cooperation between countries is essential for their sustainability, representatives agreed.
