The installed capacity of electrical generation from non -fossil sources of China exceeded 2 billion kilowatts for the first time in late February, according to data from the China Electricity Council.
The volume represents 58.8% of the country’s total installed capacity. Only wind and solar energy total 1.46 billion kilowatts, equivalent to 42.8% of national total capacity.
Marco shows China’s advance in his energy transition. The last time the country exceeded one billion kilowatts from non -fossil sources was in June 2021. Accelerated growth reflects the efforts of the electricity sector to promote a cleaner, low -carbon energy matrix.
