The report on the development of Portuguese-speaking countries (2023), also known as the Blue PLP book, was officially released Thursday at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in China.

The publication brings together a comprehensive analysis of the economy and society of Lusophone countries, especially the trends of cooperation with China. The work, based on international economy theories and updated data, aims to subsidize public policies, guide companies interested in the PLP market and stimulate academic exchange.

According to editor-in-chief Liu Jinlan, the report has 15 articles-between main, special, themed and country report-in addition to three annexes. This is the eighth annual edition produced by the Center for Studies on Portuguese -Speaking Countries. The Portuguese version should be released in the second half of 2025.
