The Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) announced the allocation of 384 million yuan (about R$320 million), from member contributions, to support affiliates in difficult situations during the New Year of 2025 and the Spring Festival holidays.
The resources will be used to assist vulnerable members, including retirees and employees who joined the Party before 1949, in addition to rewarding those who have received national honors. Families of members who died in service and people facing financial difficulties due to illness or working conditions will also benefit.
According to the department, the assistance aims to ensure long-term support, especially for those working in informal jobs or in rural areas. “The funds need to reach the recipients before the Spring Festival,” highlighted the official statement.
The date, set for January 29th this year, will be preceded by organized visits to beneficiaries, as a way of reinforcing gratitude and recognition for the services provided. Supervision of deliveries will be intensified to ensure compliance with the objective and responsible use of resources.
