Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) giant BYD on Friday opened its European flagship showroom in Paris, in the vicinity of Avenue des Champs-Elysées, one of Europe’s busiest shopping streets.
Covering 600 square meters across two levels, the store features several of BYD’s flagship models, including the Seal (a sports sedan), Dolphin (a compact city car) and ATTO3 (a compact SUV). “In the future, all of BYD’s internationally available models will be displayed and sold in-store, offering customers a wide range of choices,” the statement added.
“BYD’s development represents the scientific and technological progress achieved by the Chinese. It also expresses China’s firm commitment to climate and green transition,” said Chinese Ambassador to France Lu Shaye, adding that Chinese NEVs equipped with advanced green technology will also contribute to the green transition in France and Europe.
