According to the latest development, some customers are reporting that their Bitcoin receivables from Mt. Gox have been transferred to their cryptocurrency exchange Kraken accounts.
On Reddit, a social media platform where the cryptocurrency community is intensely active, many users began reporting that Bitcoin assets held at Mt. Gox had reached their Kraken accounts.
Today, Arkham data showed that Mt. Gox transferred $2.85 billion worth of BTC to a new wallet in the early hours of the morning Asian time. It then sent 5,000 BTC to one wallet, worth $340 million at current prices, and another 37,000 BTC to another new wallet, worth $2.5 billion.
The moves come a day after Mt. Gox moved small amounts of BTC to Bitstamp, likely as a test transaction.
In early July, Mt Gox began paying back creditors affected by a 2014 hack.
