Organizers of the China International Importation Exhibition (CII) promoted a series of activities in São Paulo to publicize the 8th edition of the fair, which will be held from 5 to 10 November in Shanghai. During the meetings, a participation contract with the State of Mato Grosso was signed, which aims to mobilize a larger number of local companies for the event.

In addition to presenting updates on the preparation of the fair and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, the organizers kept dialogues with about 20 large Brazilian companies. Some of them have already shown interest in opening offices in China to strengthen commercial ties.

The economic and commercial counselor of the China Consulate-General in São Paulo, Ba Chunhui, stressed that sectors such as clean energy, digital economy and intelligent agriculture offer promising opportunities for cooperation. He stressed that CIII is a strategic platform to deepen bilateral relations and that the consulate will continue to support Brazilian entrepreneurs interested in participating in the fair.
