
Beijing and Bancoc signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in Air Quality Managementin the context of celebrations of the 50 years of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. The agreement provides that Beijing Share best practices in monitoring and reducing pollutionespecially in the control of PM2,5 particlesone of the main atmospheric pollutants.
The partnership of three years include Technical visits, training and pilot projects to help Bancoc improve their environmental strategies. In recent years, Beijing has obtained Significant improvements in air quality, reducing the average concentration of PM2.5 to 30.5 micrograms per cubic meter in 2024keeping national standards for the fourth consecutive year.
Since 2013, the levels of PM2.5, PM10, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide in the Chinese capital almost 89% fellresult of rigorous policies and technological advances. With this collaboration, it is expected that BancoC is to advance the control of pollution, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for its inhabitants.
