BCA Expo 2024: An interactive journey on the 79th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence

This year, BCA Expo at ICE BSD, Tangerang Regency, has something different. Held from August 16 to 18, 2024, coinciding with the momentum of Indonesia’s 79th anniversary of independence, BCA Expo 2024 carries the theme of independence. With red and white hues, BCA Expo 2024 ignites the spirit of independence through a series of activities.

First of all, the second day of BCA Expo 2024 on Saturday (17/8) was opened with the Indonesian national anthem Raya. The performance of the Indonesian national anthem was followed by the Board of Directors, all BCA employees and management, tenants and visitors in a solemn manner. BCA Director Haryanto T. Budiman attended the event and delivered a speech. Also present were BCA Expo 2024 Committee Chairman and Executive Vice President of Consumer Lending Welly Yandoko and BCA Expo 2024 Committee Vice Chairman and BCA CFO Petrus Karim.

In his speech, Haryanto T. Budiman, Director of BCA, said: “None of us fought for Indonesia’s independence in 1945. However, it is our duty to build Indonesia together and achieve the goal of Indonesia Emas 2045. BCA is committed to supporting the development of the Indonesian economy as a whole to achieve this goal.”

Secondly, to further energize the national spirit, BCA also set up the BCA Expo Pojok Kemerdekaan. This area offers a variety of games typical of the August 17 celebrations, but combined with technology. All the technologies present in this area are designed to offer an interactive and modern experience, but without losing its roots in Indonesian culture. At the BCA Expo Pojok Kemerdekaan, visitors can participate in a cookie eating competition, a game that challenges players to use their body to move and catch the cookies that fall on a glass screen.

There were also sack races and marble races that challenged the players’ skills. The difference is that all these games are done virtually. In addition, BCA also offers an AI photo booth that can produce photos with the nuances of independence. All visitors who participate in all the games at Expo Pojok Kemerdekaan BCA will receive attractive prizes from Bakti BCA.
