200g of cornstarch biscuits

100g melted butter

400g of dulce de leche (one jar)

4 ripe bananas

300ml of fresh cream (or cream), very cold

2 tablespoons of sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for decoration
Preparation mode
- Crush the cornstarch cookies in a blender or food processor until they become fine crumbs.
- Mix the biscuit crumbs with the melted butter until you get a smooth dough.
- Line the bottom and sides of a springform pan (approximately 22 cm in diameter) with this mixture, pressing down firmly to compact.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.
- Once the base is firm, spread the dulce de leche over the biscuit base.
- Cut the bananas into slices and spread them over the dulce de leche.
- Beat the fresh cream with the sugar and vanilla (if using) until it reaches a stiff whipped cream consistency.
- Spread the whipped cream over the bananas.
- Decorate with chocolate shavings or sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving so that the pie sets and the flavors blend.
