O Intelligent Computing Power and China should expand rapidly in the coming years, driven by the growing demand for generative AI modelsaccording to a report from International Data Corporation (IDC) and the technology company Inspur Information. The industry is expected to grow a composed annual rate of 46.2% between 2023 and 2028reflecting China’s increasing role in global race for leadership in artificial intelligence.

In 2024, the Intelligent Computing Power from the country reached 725 EFLOPSan increase of 74% compared to the previous year. Projections indicate that this number will continue to grow rapidly, reaching 1,037 Eflops in 2025, 1,460 eflops in 2026 and more than Folding to 2,781.9 Eflops until 2028. This expansion follows the diversification of AI computing infrastructurewhich now adopts services oriented models, sector -specific solutions and ecological strategies.

Despite the accelerated advance, the report warns that Chinese companies still face challenges as Inadequate AI computing architectures for large scale, high infrastructure costs and lack of high performance resources. To deal with these barriers, the China should focus on expansion of computational capacity and optimization of efficiencypromoting industrial clusters, infrastructure improvement and more robust data supporthe said Zhou Zhengang, vice-presidente da IDC China.

With this growth, the China positions itself as a global power in computing artificial intelligenceaccelerating its competitiveness in the development of AGA ADVANCED MODELS and expanding its influence on global digital transformation.
