Ingredients

2 tablespoons of olive oil or oil
Preparation mode
- In a pan, heat 3 cups of water or broth and add the salt.
- In a bowl, dissolve the cornmeal in the remaining cup of cold water to avoid lumps.
- When the water in the pan is hot, add the dissolved cornmeal and stir well.
- Cook over low heat, stirring always to prevent it from sticking until the polenta thickens and becomes creamy (about 30-40 minutes).
- Add the butter and mix well. If desired, finish with grated Parmesan.
- In a skillet or pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion until lightly brown.
- Add the garlic and sauté a little more, be careful not to burn.
- Add ground beef and cook until golden and loose.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato extract, and cook until the tomato crumbles.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook for a few minutes until a thick sauce.
- Finish with the green smell or chopped parsley.
- Serve the polenta in back dishes and place a generous portion of ground beef on top. If you want, add more grated cheese on top.
