What does APT mean?
Like all countries, there are cultural and linguistic elements specific to their environment, a situation that we see reflected in the name of Rosé’s new single, “APT.”
Many fans took on the task of researching, “The game that Chae Young loves” as heard singing at the beginning of the song, since APT is a typical Korean game that is used when drinking.
The meaning of the acronym APT is not very scientific, since in Korean the way to pronounce “apartment” is “apateu”, therefore, its pronunciation is limited to the acronym that titles the song.
How to play APT?
The game begins with two players who intersperse their hands vertically, then “A-pa-teu” is sung four times and whoever is the leader of the team chooses a number. Then, the players begin to accumulate their hands from bottom to top, completing the chosen number (a partner’s hand is placed on the hand of a player and so on). The objective is to create the tower again without undoing the previous one, and whoever is at the top is the player whose turn it is to drink.
Rosé and Bruno have fun in Brazil
After the premiere of their collaborative single, the singers are in Brazil, where Bruno Mars has a concert scheduled. Fans hope that Rosé will be the special guest and her recent song will be sung live for the first time.
Many people have noticed the closeness and chemistry that exists between both artists. Recently, the “Just The Way You Are” singer was spotted in the K-pop singer’s room. Fans had the opportunity to capture their idols together from the balcony of the hotel where Rosé is staying. At that moment, the singers greeted them and made heart shapes for those who, despite the rain, were waiting for them.
Rosé and Bruno have shared several moments together, such as attending a soccer game, playing APT, the singer giving Rosé “Bruno cookies” and the Korean classes she gave to the singer to promote his single.
