Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 cup (tea) oil

  • 1 and 1/2 cups of warm milk

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 envelope of dry yeast (10g)

  • 4 cups (tea) of wheat flour

  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Preparation mode

  • In a blender, add the eggs, oil, warm milk, sugar and salt. Beat well until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • With the blender still running, add the dry yeast and blend for a few more seconds.
  • Pour the liquid mixture into a large bowl. Add the wheat flour little by little, mixing well with a wooden spoon or your hands until the dough is homogeneous and no longer sticks to your hands. If necessary, add a little more flour.
  • Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let the dough rest for about 1 hour or until it doubles in volume.
  • After rising, shape the loaves into the desired shape (it can be in the shape of balls, braids, or in a loaf pan).
  • Place the breads on a greased and floured baking tray.
  • Brush the bread with the beaten egg yolk to give it a golden color.
  • Let it rest for another 20 minutes while you preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Place the loaves in the preheated oven and bake for around 30-40 minutes or until they are golden and make a hollow sound when tapped.
