China is confident of achieving its full-year growth target as it considers new supportive policies to sustain stable and healthy economic growth, the country’s top economic planning body said on Tuesday.
Market sentiment has improved recently with a rise in the industrial purchasing managers’ index, a buoyant stock market and a vital consumer market during the National Day holiday, following the implementation of existing policies and recently unveiled incremental policies, it said. Zheng Shanjie, head of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), at a press conference.
Furthermore, the fundamentals of China’s economic development have not changed, and favorable conditions such as huge market potential and strong economic resilience have not changed either, said Zheng.
